The TZ77XE4 T-Overclocker with a black PCB and black expansion slots. Southbridge cooler as well as the coolers on the current converters get an orange cover which really looks nice and gives this board an individual touch. Biostar equipped their latest TZ77XE4 T-Overclocker motherboard with a 13 phase VRM design. This really is enough even for overclocking. In a later stage we will check what this board is capable of regarding extreme overclocking.


Totally you'll find four DIMM-slots on the Biostar TZ77XE4 T-Overclocker and it supports DDR3 2600 (OC) / 2400 (OC) / 2133 (OC) / 1866 (OC) / 1600 / 1333 / 1066 MHz.


The current converters are being held at adequate temperatures via a passive heatpipe cooling solution. There are two separate cooling blocks covering the area which are connected via a heatpipe. The southbridge got a cooling block too, which has not been integrated into the heatpipe loop of the VRM. The fact that the cooling blocks around the CPU socket aren't too big makes it comfortable to install a big aircooler. We also noticed the very high manufacturing quality of the cooling blocks.
