The ELC240 comes well protected from outer influences, that none of the parts included will be damaged during transportation. Enermax includes not only an Intel but also an AMD mounting kit. Therefore the cooler is compatible to both worlds right out of the box. Furthermore the manufacturer puts two of his own 120 millimeter T.B. Silence fans in the box. These PWM driven fans come with a special feature, that lets you adjust the the rpm range from 850 - 1500 rpm to 850 - 1800 rpm to 850 - 2200 rpm. Compared to other manufacturers Enermax doesn't team up with Asetek or Cool IT for this closed-loop watercooler. Instead they went for AVC (Asia Vital Components) which is one of the largest suppliers for CPU coolers.
