Haswell Line-Up

At launch Intel presents 13 new Haswell CPUs, whereas the manufacturer chose to launch several Core i5 as well as Core i7 models. These new processors can be categorized into different TDP classes and there are 84 Watt, 65 Watt, 45 Watt and 35 Watt. Concerning the 84 Watt models, those are the most powerful new CPUs and come either with a "K" suffix or just on suffix at all behin there "4XXX" product number. Like since a few generation the "K" still marks CPUs which feature an open multiplyer. Furthermore there are CPU with the name "4XXX"-S and those come with a TDP of 65 Watt. If you see a "4XXX"-T model then these processors either have a TDP of 45 or 35 Watt. Last but not least there is a "4XXX"-R model. In this case the R is the hint, that Intel equipped this processor with the most powerful IGP, the Iris Pro HD5200. This integrate graphics processor will feature on-chip eDRAM for even more performance.
