Overview

As it was the case with the previous model, Cooltek's W2 is a very stylish full-tower PC case made of aluminum and aimed to be used with ATX motherboards. The front, as well as almost the entire case, is smooth and without any openings. The side panels are quite simple and only on the right one has small vent holes through which the power supply is to suck in fresh air. Apart from that there is also the I/O panel on this side of the case. What you get in this case are two USB3.0 ports and the classic 3.5mm audio jacks. Another thing that's really practical about this case it the mounting mechanism of the side panels. There are push-pins that keep the aluminum plates in place and the chassis frame has been equipped with foam rubber in order to dampen vibrations.
As noted above, even the top is very smooth and elegant without any mesh or fan slot. Despite its rather small size, the Cooltek W2 offers enough space, that you can even install XL-ATX motherboards. On the bottom side there is a convenient, removable and washable dust filter. On the Cooltek W2 there is only a single 5.25" slot and the placement is most interesting. The maker decided to not integrate the slot into the front but in the back. Accessibility certainly takes a beating but on the other hand the looks are not being affected by an obtrusive 5.25 inch drive.
