The In Win 904 Plus uses a rather unique and elegant
design, in fact, the case is built from a single block of aluminum and two sidepanels
made from tempered glass. The build quality is on very high level, aluminum and
everything else is at the highest level.
As mentioned, the basic structure is made of black satin aluminum with a 4mm thickness, while the inner area features an opaque black paintwork and a thickness of 2mm. Both side panels are
made of two huge panels of tempered glass with a thickness of 5 millimeters. Thanks to the special materials, the product it is very solid and robust, however, we suggest to handle it very carefully given the particular material used for the side panels.
The front, top and bottom are quite simple, with a clean and elegant design while the back is more elaborate
and in order to allow the installation of the CPU radiator, In Win created a
completely removable area in order to allow an easy access to the work area.
The 3.5" devices are placed at top part and include aluminum sledges with a hot-swap connector. The housing for the 2.5" SSD is right under the 3.5" cages
and close to the I/O panel. Unfortunately, the 2.5-inch mounting places
do not have a hot-swap feature but only a removable cage which is always good for a quick installation of the device. In total, the 904 Plus
can house up to two 2.5-inch SSDs/HDDs and three 3.5-inch HDDs, which is definitely more than enough for an ATX case of this type.
To keep a clean line and design, In Win placed the buttons and all I/O ports at the left side of the case, near the 140mm fan
mounting position and the 5.25" slot. |
