Closer look
Unlike the Power-RX, which we previously reviewed, the Control-RX comes well packaged in a handy cardboard box,
dominating with brand colors, the red and the black. The packaging features the main characteristics of the product in 9 languages, the serial number and a small window that will allow you to touch
and feel the pad.
The dimensions of the pad are very generous in size, in fact it measures 44 centimeters in length and 35 height. Since it is pretty big and requires plenty of space,
so you should first check if you have enough space on your desk.
The top as well as in the bottom right corner feature the product name. By touching the surface
you will notice that it is very smooth. The texture features like a very fine structure in order to provide excellent gliding characteristics.
The Control-RX is made out of black lycra and the lower part is polyurethane anti-slip with rounded
resistant corners. The upper part is specifically designed for all those who prefer a low management of DPI, while the lower part provides the perfect adherence of the pad on each surface.

Conclusion
With the
Control-RX, Cooler Master has a generously sized mousepad in its portfolio. Thanks
to the fact that the surface features a very fine structure, this pad offers
very good gliding characteristics. Since this pad is rather large, players who
prefer low DPI settings will not run out of space too quickly and therefore they
will not have to lift the mouse every few centimeters. In case of high the DPI
settings, the texture is fine enough to provide accurate tracking. Overall the
CM Storm Control-RX mousepad is a versatile tool, that can be used for low- as
well as high-sensitivity gaming alike, but only if your desk is big enough for
it.
The Control-RX is a very good product and
of excellent quality. While the price of 25 Euro is not exactly cheap,
it is still competitive.
CM Storm Control-RX gets
very good
4.5 out of 5
