With the GeForce GTX 275 AMP ZOTAC presents a graphic card which is based on nVidias GT200 graphic chip. ZOTAC overworked the GTX 275s power design. Therefore the card is now provided with a seven phase power design. This is what allows ZOTAC to clock the GPU up to 702 MHz instead of 633 MHz wich is standard. Also the memory is overclocked to 1260 MHz instead of 1130 MHz.
The GT 275 chip which is based on nVidias GT200 comes with 240 shader processors and 80 texture units whereas the shaders are clocked at 1512 MHz. Furthermore the card is equipped with a 448 bit wide memory interface which is able to address 896 MByte of GDDR3 memory. As a special feature with the Zotac GTX 275 AMP you get a seven phase power design which provides a stable current flow to the overclocked components.
On the following pages you'll be able to read what the Zotac GeForce GTX 275 is capable of.

Conclusion
For the Zotac GeForce GTX 275 AMP there stand two very good arguments: first is the performance and second the price. For about CHF 327.- (EUR 218.-) you get a card which performs as well as a GTX 285 that costs CHF 70.- (EUR 45.-) more than the Zotac model. The seven phase power design is what allows Zotac to overclock the GPU by nearly 70 MHz, which is quite astonishing for a factory overclock especially when you keep in mind that GPU is still air cooled.
The Zotac GTX 275 AMP really was able to convice us. Performance as well as price are at a very good level and also the delivery includes with Race Driver Grid and Futuremark Vantage useful software.
Resulting of the above mentioned reasons we give our ocaholic Top Hardware Award to this product.
The ZOTAC GTX 275 can be bought at Digitec.ch to a price of CHF 327.-
