With Ivy Bridge-E, Intel is sending a new high-end desktop CPU into the race for the fastet CPU, a desktop users money can buy. Based on the Ivy Bridge architecture and with a turbo clock of 4.0 GHz this CPU is trying to convince potential customers, that it is upgrade time. Is Intel really going to succeed?
