I had better results with afterburner than I did with GPU tweak. After reading the guide I know I'll end up doing it eventually. As someone who has had safety drilled in me, I can't fault Nvidia for limiting voltage. Still annoying tho lol.

These safety mechanisms reall suck ... I mean ... a standard user is highly unlikely to alter voltages at all and honestly I think there won't be loads of RMA cases related to this.

Other than that ... I shouldn't be a huge issue to put something like a "black box" on a VGA to monitor voltages that were manually applied. Once the card is dead that chip (or whatever it might be) could be read out ...

Here is the original Link of modding the Asus 780 Ti DC2
http://kingpincooling.com/forum/showthread.php?t=2533
The Bios actually does not work proper, and only allows 1600 Core Will update it when i got it

P.S., the only way to get more than 1,25V is Hardmodding the card Resized Image

Moose, if I'm doing this volt mod without a ROG board I would just do step 5, correct? About what resistance would yield me 1.4V on the gpu?

All I could find so far on a release date for the ek block for an asus dcuII 780ti is around the end of march.

Re: Mods and LN2 Bios for Asus GTX 780 Ti DC2 #17
You have to remove 2 resistors, and short the one, to enable Hotwire. Use an 10k or 20k variable resistor for Vgpu and 20k for Vmem So you can adjust the voltage on the fly. Dont do it in 2D Mode, 3D Voltage is higher, so you must adjust it in 3D
And dont use 1,4V on water!!! Resized Image
