Re: MSI Gaming and 3-4way #11
I just had a seriously weird issue. I tried to get the DisplayPort on my VGA working under Windows 10 and I simply couldn't get the signal form the VGA to the dislay. It turned out that the power saving options in Windows 8, 8.1 as well as Windows 10 are the culprit. If you set everything to "High Performance" then DisplayPort starts to work.

Hi and a very warm welcome to ocaholic haneeya!

Thank you very much for sharing your findings with us

I'm also using Windows 10 and my display is connected to the rig via DisplayPort as well. In fact, I had the exact same issue like you. On my side it also turned out that the power saving options have been causing the headache.

Apart from that I noticed, that when the display goes in power saving mode, all windows are resized and move to another spot on the desktop. This is also rather annoying, especially having a UHD display where I align every window at a suitable position.
