Last week we have built the first dual socket rig of this year, a powerful ASRock EP2C612 with 2x Xeon E5-2690-v3. Xeon E5-2690-v3 is a server CPU with 12 core and 24 thread, in other words a lot of power! Since the system was a bit too naked, Marc installed also a EK Waterblocks Predator 240 with two CPU waterblocks. Despite the huge amount of heat from both CPUs (according to Intel the TDP is set to 135W), the cooler is able to keep all the system in a good way.
