Alienware unveils new 13-inch gaming notebook

Meet the Alienware 13 with GTX 860M GPU

Dell's Alienware has unveiled its newest Alienware 13 notebook, a 13-inch gaming notebook with a wide choice of Haswell and Broadwell ULV CPUs paired up with Nvidia's Geforce GTX 860M GPU.

As it was the case with all previous Alienware notebooks, this one will also have quite a few upgrade options. The list starts with a 13-inch HD 1366x768 display which can be upgraded to either the Full HD 1920x1080 or even a Quad HD 2560x1440 touchscreen display.

The heart of the new Alienware 13 will be a wide list of Intel's Haswell CPUs as well as the next-gen Broadwell CPUs when they eventually launch. The CPU will be paired up wtih Nvidia GTX 860M GPU and it will have a wide range of SSD or HDD options.

According to Alienware, the battery on the Alienware 13 should be enough for up to eight hours of video playback, which is not half bad considering its specifications.

Unfortunately, Alienware did not shed much more details regarding the Alienware 13 other than we will hear more when it goes on sale, in November.
