Dell launches new U3415W monitor

With curved 34-inch 21:9 1440p screen

Unveiled late in August, Dell's U3415W curved 34-inch 1440p 21:9 monitor has just arrived on the market of the Republic of China, showing all its features in detail.

This widescreen curved 34-inch, 21:9 format will be first available on the Asian market and will eventually come to the USA and Europe.

Its IPS Panel can display 3440 x 1440 resolution at 60 Hz, has G2G response time of 8ms in normal mode and 5ms in fast mode, contrast of 1000:1, brightness of 300cd/m² and viewing angles of 178°. For connectivity, the Dell U3415W has an HDMI 2.0 port, an MHL, a Mini-DisplayPort, a DisplayPort 1.2, a standard DisplayPort output and four USB 3.0 ports, in addition to two 9W speakers. The stand allows you to adjust its position, but not to rotate, as its 21:9 aspect ratio is simply not for it.

It is currently available in Asia for 9999 Hong Kong dollars. We will need to wait until December or the beginning of next year until it comes to the USA or Europe where it is expected to cost around 1100€.
