Dell announces new Dell Chromebook 13

13-incher with 12 hour battery

Dell has teamed up with Google in order to release a new Dell Chromebook 13 which will be running on Google's Chrome OS and pack some decent specifications.

Based on a 13.3-inch IPS Full HD 1920x1080 display, a wide list of Intel CPUs, including Intel 5th generation Core i5 CPU, up to 8GB of RAM and comes bundled with plenty of Dell software and features including Dell SonicWALL VPN app, Sell Secure Mobile Access, Dell Wyse vWorkplace desktop visualization and more.

Dell's new Chromebook 13 can be also equipped with either Intel Celeron or Core i3 CPUs, which is still a decent boost considering that most Chromebooks have been using Intel Atom CPUs. The rest of the announced and listed specifications include a 720p HD webcam as well as a 12 hour battery life, something that is quite a impressive result.

According to Dell, the new Chromebook 13 will start at US $399 and will be available in the U.S and Canad as of September 17th. Hopefully, the rest of the world will get it as well and we will get more details regarding the rest of the specifications soon.
