AMD might paper-launch dual-GPU Fury X2

Might be coming in late Q1 2016

Earlier we heard that AMD might launch its new dual-GPU flagship Radeon Fury X2 graphics card before the end of this year, but it appears that while it might launch in December, you might not be able to buy it before late Q1 2016.

According to a fresh report from Benchlife.info site, AMD might paper-launch the new flagship Radeon R9 Fury dual-GPU graphics card in December, and while some AIB partners already have samples, mass production won't start before Q1 2016, so it could end up delayed.

Of course, this is just a rumor so you should take it with a grain of salt. Internally known as the Gemini, the new flagship graphics card will feature two Fiji GPUs on a single PCB and feature 4GB of HBM per GPU.

We will surely ask around but for now, don't get your hopes up on buying the new dual-GPU flagship Radeon before Q1 2016.
