Intel six-core Core i7-6850K Broadwell-E tested

Spotted in Overclock.net forums

Although Intel's Broadwell-E CPUs are not officially launched, today we have a few tests of the Core i7-6850K Broadwell-E CPU which has been compared to the Core i7-5820K.

Although Intel's Broadwell-E CPUs have been listed up for pre-order, these are not officially launched and are expected at Computex 2016 show, but as expected, these have started to leak and today we have some of the first tests of the six-core, twelve-thread Core i7-6850K SKU.

Working at 3.6GHz base and 3.8GHz Boost clocks, the Core i7-6850K packs 15MB L3 cache and has a 140W TDP, same as the entire Broadwell-E lineup.

The tests were done over Overclock.net forums and the CPU was cooled bz Intel's BXTS13X CPU cooler.

While we do not have a full picture, we at least have Cinebench and 3DMark benchmarks as well as some of the pictures of the actual CPU sample.
