Nvidia GTX 1080 4-way SLI hits over 20k in Time Spy

Zurv holds the record, 8Pack also playing with it

We already published our own score with 4-way SLI in the 3DMark Time Spy benchmark and a quick check of 3DMark Hall of Fame reveals that other people are also playing with it, hitting scores of over 20,000 points.

According to the current Hall of Fame list, Zurv from the US is currently holding the first place in Time Spy benchmark with GTX 1080 4-way SLI and a score of 20,119. Interestingly, 8Pack is also playing with a similar setup and is currently holding the second place with 19,208 score.

As we wrote earlier, Nvidia enabled 4-way SLI GTX 1080 support with its latest Geforce 368.81 drivers and our setup worked like a charm, getting us easily to 15,714 points.

A holder of the first place on the 3DMark Hall of Fame for Time Spy benchmark runs on ASUS X99-E WS/USB 3.1 motherboard, Intel Core i7-6950X CPU clocked at 3000MHz and four EVGA GTX 1080 graphics cards in 4-way SLI, running at 2139/1306MHz for GPU/memory.

8Pack on the other hand is running on Rampage V Edition 10 motherboard and Intel Core i7-6900K, overclocked to 3.2GHz, as well as four Nvidia GTX 1080 graphics cards running at 2101/1389MHz.

We are quite sure that Time Spy result will go even higher as the benchmark becomes a bit more popular with overclockers but it surely looks promising with people already hitting over 20k.
