Xtreme Addict releases new overclocking tweak guide

For B-Die memory on ASUS ROG Maximus VIII motherboards

Xtreme Addict has released a new overclocking tweak guide which focuses on on B-Die memory and its overclocking on ASUS ROG Maximus VIII series motherboards.

According to Xtreme Addict, after an extensive tweaking and binning B-Die memory modules, he found out that some tweaks can make the B-Die memory work quite well on ASUS ROG Maximus VIII series motherboards.

Xtreme Addict notes in its guide that binning the motherboard is also quite important as it does matter and influence the end result, especially when it comes to extreme overclocking. He also notes that some motherboard degrade after LN2 benching.

But when all is said and done and with some tweaks from Xtreme Addict's guide, overclockers should be able to hit 4000MHz with CL12 1T latencies on those motherboards.

There is a neat list of tweaks, including RTL/IOL, SLOPE, ODT, DRAM REF Voltage, Voltage-VTT and other settings, that should allow users to squeeze some extra MHz and thighter latencies from B-Die memory.

Xtreme Addict also notes that these tweaks work on ASUS ROG Maximus VIII Extreme, Maximus VIII Impact, Maximus VIII Gene, but could work on some other motherboards as well.
