Corsair unveils Crystal 460X PC case

Windowed mid-tower overkill

A few days ago Corsair has announced its newest Crystal Series PC case, the Crystal 460X RGB, which is more of a showcase PC case rather than a closed enclosure with tempered glass on both the front and side panel as well as three front RGB fans to add some bling to it.

The Crystal 460X RGB is a compact ATX mid-tower PC case measuring 440x220x464mm, with support for mini-ITX, micro-ATX and standard ATX motherboards. It also supports up to 370mm long graphics cards, up to 170mm tall CPU coolers and up to 200mm long PSUs.

The Crystal 460X RGB has seven expansion slots and has room for two 3.5-inch and three 2.5-inch drives.

The main feature of the Corsair Crystal 460X RGB PC case are its tempered glass front and side panels, which pretty much put all of the hardware on display. It also includes three SP120 RGB fans mounted at the front.

In addition to the three SP120 RGB fans at the front, the Crystal 460X RGB case also has room for two 120/140mm fans at the top and single 120mm fan at the rear and supports up to 360mm radiator at the front, 240/280mm radiator at the top and 120mm radiator at the rear.

Already available directly from Corsair, the Crystal 460X RGB PC case is priced at US $139.99, which is not that high considering that it comes with three RGB fans and two tempered glass panels. This is probably one of the cheapest PC cases that can properly showcase all of your hardware.
