Gigabyte teases their Aorus Gaming motherboard

New motherboard lineup incoming

On their official Facebook page, Gigabyte have shown a little preview on their upcoming Intel Z270 motherboards. So far there is only a little teaser which is showing a few parts of the new Aorus gaming motherboard. According to what we can see from the two little pictures, it looks like Gigabyte wants to add some “more style" using LEDs and lighting.

The first image shows an Aorus Gaming motherboard that might feature an ATX form-factor and comes with four DIMM slots. Furthermore the image suggests that there is a fully-packed layout with a ton of additional chips. Apart from that we can see four PCIe slots as well as M.2 slots. Even the heatsink on the PCH is rather big. This suggests that this upcoming Aorus board could become a new flagship model.

The second picture shows an onboard USB 3.1 header. Since the image is pretty small we don't know if this teaser really shows something that’s related to a new Intel Z270 series motherboard or an Intel X99 series based model. With’s certain is that there are four DIMM slots as well as Gigabyte’s Ultra Durable Memory Armor.

Judging by the number of teasers and leaks it appears that the launch of Kaby Lake and Intel Z270 is just around the corner and we are pretty sure that during the next weeks or even days we will see more teasers.
