ASUS ROG announces new HB SLI Bridge

ROG Strix design

With their Pascal-based GTX 10-series graphics cards, Nvidia released their new high-bandwidth SLI Bridges. Compared to the first generation of SLI bridges, those new ones offer twice the bandwidth. Meanwhile ASUS has announced that they’re updated their own ROG bridges so they also support the doubled bandwidth.
You might have already expected, that these new bridges feature RGB lighting, which can be controlled via software or touch on a sensitive area, that has been integrated into the lighting panel.

The new SLI Bridge design matches the latest ASUS ROG Strix graphics cards perfectly since they share the same design. Apart from that the bridge is available spanning either over three or 4 slots. To be able to control the RGB illumination you will have connect a 4-pin cable to an RGB header on your motherboard.

Checking on availability and pricing we’ve not come across any details yet. Nevertheless we’re expecting that those ROG HB SLI bridges will soon be listed and ready for shipment to end-users.
