EKWB shows monoblock for ASUS Maximus IX Hero

To be available soon

EK Water Blocks have shown their upcoming ASUS Maximus IX Hero monoblock that will take care of both motherboard VRM and CPU water cooling thanks to a huge single water block. Since the ASUS Maximus IX Hero is a high-end ATX motherboard, it is quite predictable that this motherboard is going to be part of water cooling projects to come.

The EK-FB ASUS M9H is the first monoblock for socket 1151 ASUS Z270 chipset motherboards. This monoblock design is not only very good looking it also features only one inlet and one outlet for coolant keeping the looks clean. If you were to cool your setup with a separate block for the CPU and the PCH that would mean you’d have twice the number of connectors and more tubes ending in a less clean build.

The base of the monoblock is made from nickel-plated electrolytic copper, while the top is available in two options: POM Acetal or acrylic glass material. The EK Water Blocks EK-FB ASUS M9H should already be available via the EK Webshop and also at the official reselling partners.

The price of the EK-FB ASUS M9H Monoblock – Nickel and EK-FB ASUS M9H Monoblock – Acetal+Nickel is set to 119.95€. Furthermore EK Water Blocks will introduce similar monoblocks for upcoming high-end AM4 motherboards. The fact that there is AMD Ryzen right around the corner makes us expect to see even more monoblocks soon and hopefully there are going to be some nice modding projects around for us to feature.
