In Win unveils 301 case

A smaller version of the 303

A few months ago, during CES 2017, In Win has shown an early prototype of their 301 case. Meanwhile the case has been spotted on the official site and we believe that it will be available quite soon. According to the first images, the new In Win 301 looks quite similar to its bigger brother, the 303, which is compatible with ATX motherboards.

Since there are detailed specifications available let's start talking about what we can spot by just looking at the pictures. First of all the case comes with a simple and sleek design and there are no special air-vents on this model. Everything is kept in a classic and clean way like the previous model. One of the two panels of the In Win 301 is made entirely from solid tempered glass and allows a quick look inside the case providing a rather unique design. The front includes the I/O panel, which features two USB 3.0 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, headphone and microphone jacks as well as the standard power and reset buttons. Apart from that the front-panel features backlit connectors.

The In Win 301 is a mini tower case, which is compatible with mATX and mini-ITX form factor motherboards. Unlike the previous model, which we’ve already reviewed, it looks like the internals have been arranged differently. The picture shows that the PSU goes in the top and sits above the motherboard tray. On their official site In Win claims there is also space for radiators at the front and on the rear. As a consequence we’d expect that it would be possible to install a 240/280mm radiator at the front and a 140mm one at the back.

So far In Win has not revealed any details on pricing and availability regarding the 301 but we’re sure more details will surface during the upcoming CeBIT 2017 trade show in Germany.
