A few weeks ago be quiet! announced their Pure Base 600. Meanwhile, after having released the base model, be quiet! is coming up with the Pure Base 600 Window, which is a rather small mid-tower chassis that’s been made from SECC steel and ABS plastic. Like the name suggests, this case features a big and detachable tempered glass side panel.


The Pure Base 600 Window measures 492 x 220 x 445mm with a net weight of 7Kg and classifies as a mid-tower. The case comes with a simple and sleek design and there are no doors or special air-vents on this model. Everything is kept in a plain and clean way. The left side panel features a detachable tempered glass side panel while the right one is made from solid steel. The Pure Base 600 Window is available in an all-black design, as well as black with orange highlights.

On the inside there is space for ATX, micro-ATX or mini-ITX motherboard. Cooling wise there is space for two large radiators (360mm) that could be mounted at the front or at the top. There is also enough space for tower coolers, measuring up to 165mm in height. The internal layout is simple and straightforward. You can install up to three HDDs or eight 2.5" drives. There are also two 5.25" slots to install additional HDDs or ODDs. Furthermore we find two pre-installed Pure Wings 2 fans measuring 120mm and 140mm in diameter. What’s nice to see is that there is even a little fan controller to manually adjust rotation speeds.
