EK introduces Gaming Series water cooling kits

With 240mm, 280mm and 360mm radiators

EK Water Blocks has put together three new water cooling kits, which they’re marketing as gaming products. The main difference between the kits is the size of the radiator and in the end the price.

All kits contain an EK-Supremacy MX UNI waterblock, an EK-CoolStream radiator, an EK-DBAY D5 PWM MX water pump and reservoir combo unit, EK Vardar fans, Ek-DuraClear 9.5/12.7mm clear tubing, EK-ACF Fittings 10/13, EK-CryoFuel Clear Concentrate 100mL and corresponding Y-Splitters to attach the fans. The included waterblock is compatible with Intel’s Sockets LGA-775/1366/1150/1151/1155/1156/2011(-3) as well as AMD’s Socket AM4. To be a little bit more precise regarding the radiators the G240 and the G360 kit make use of 38mm thick heat exchangers, while the G280 ships with a 45mm radiator.

Apparently EK is also using different Vardar fans. While the G240 and the G360 both ship with 120mm models, which spin at up to 1850rpm the G280 is combined with 140mm fans spinning at a maximum of 1600rpm. All fans are connected using a PWM header, which will make them spin as fast as required, resulting in low noise levels.

These EK kits need to be assembled and they’re targeting users who want to enter custom water cooling. Due to the fact that EK already selected the components customers can be sure there is nothing missing and everything fits perfectly - apart from the tubes which need to be cut apparently.

All three different kits are already available in the EK webshop as well as through the EK reseller network. Checking for prices the EK-KIT G240 costs 289.95 Euro, the EK-KIT G280 sells for 299.95 Euro and the EK-KIT G360 sets you back 314.95 Euro.
