Thermaltake Core V71 Tempered Glass announced

Just a little refresh

A few months ago, Thermaltake announced their Core V71 case. Now the company is presenting a little update on this model, which means they’ve added tempered glass side panels to it. The Core V71 is a full-tower chassis that’s been made from SECC steel, ABS plastic and tempered glass.

The Core V71 Tempered Glass Edition measures 583 x 230 x 560mm with a net weight of almost 15Kg and classifies as a full-tower. The top and the front faceplate share a simple design, while left side panel is now made from tempered glass and the main chassis is made from solid steel.

On the inside there is space for E-ATX / ATX / micro-ATX / mini-ITX motherboards. Cooling wise there is space for two big radiators (420mm) that can be mounted in the front and in the top. In addition there is enough space for high-end tower coolers, which can measure up to 185mm in height.

The internal layout is overall quite simple and straightforward, you can install up to eight HDDs or two SSDs. There are also two 5.25" slots to install additional HDDs.

So far Thermaltake has not yet revealed any details on pricing and availability regarding their Core V71 Tempered Glass Edition but we are sure more details will become available during the upcoming weeks.
