Patriot announces Ryzen compatible memory

With clock speeds up to DDR4-3400

Patriot has been testing several memory kits in combination with AMD’s Ryzen platform. The vendor has been looking into compatibility with X370 as well as B350 based motherboards from all the different major motherboard manufacturers out there. As a result Patriot is now able to announce that several of their kits are certified to operate at up to DDR4-3400 frequency.


Amongst the motherboards tested there is the Gigabyte GA-AX370 Gaming K5 and the GA-AX370 Gaming K7, the MSI X370 XPOWER GAMING TITANIUM and the X370 SLI PLUS, the ASUS ROG Crosshair VI Hero and the PRIME B350-PLUS as well as the ASROCK X370 Tachi and the X370 Killer SLI. On top of that Patriot has tested the kits with several B350/A320-based motherboards as well and there are the AB350M Pro4, the Fatal1ty AB350 Gaming K4, the AB350M-HDV, the A320M Pro4 and the A320M-HDV on the list.

Bottom line Patriot can now confirm that their Viper 4, Viper Elite and Signature memory kits are fully compatible with AMD Ryzen. The kits are available in single, dual and quad channel configurations. The capacity ranges from 4GB to 64GB and speeds vary between DDR4-2133 and DDR4-3400.
