AMD Radeon Vega 56 triple-fan has been pictured

Might be a prototype

TooliusTech has posted a few pictures of an upcoming RX Vega 56 graphics card, which is - apparently - a custom version. According to the pictures, the card features a massive heatsink with a dense aluminum fin stack, several heatpipes and three fans. Unlike the reference model, this card comes with both 6-pin and 8-pin power connectors.

The card features a dual slot heatsink and a dense aluminum fin stack that has been combined with three fans. The entire cooler has been kept in black and the card will come without a backplate. The PCB itself appears to be very short, which could implicate that the Vega Nano is going to arrive soon as well. This GPU will come with a factory overclock, although at this time the frequencies are still unknown.

The AMD AIB partners are expected to launch their custom versions during the upcoming weeks. This cooler reminds us of a model Powercolor was using on their old R9 290X. Maybe it's still the same GPU cooler with different stickers on top of it. Nevertheless we’re curious to see the performance of the upcoming custom RX Vega graphics cards.

Since the PCB looks 20-ish centimeters short, we expect to see a version with a smaller cooler to fit mini ITX systems.
