BenQ unveils EW277HDR 27-inch HDR display

Based on a high-contrast VA panel

BenQ has added another monitor with a 27-inch panel and 1920 x 1080 resolution to its lineup. The display comes with a high-contrast VA panel and it’s supposed to be HDR compatible. In addition the EW277HDR achieves 93% of DCI-P3 colour space, which makes it is suitable for professional use.


As we’ve already mentioned the EW277HDR monitor has been equipped with a 27-inch panel offering 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution. On the connector side of things we find two HDMI ports and one VGA connector. The BenQ EW277HDR comes with a VA panel with 3000:1 contrast ratio and 300 cd/m2 brightness.

On top of the convincing specs there is a very well-built frame, which allows for pan, tilt, swivel and height adjustment. Furthermore it comes with integrated speakers. In addition BenQ, has added an eye-care technology that protects viewers’ vision health. Unfortunately there is no information on what it actually does.

So far BenQ has not revealed any details on pricing and availability regarding their EW277HDR monitor.
