EVGA announces their GTX 1080 Ti FTW3 Elite

Now with 12GHz GDDR5X memory

EVGA has now shown another GTX 1080 Ti, which makes use of the capable FTW3 triple fan cooler. The so called FTW3 Elite graphics card has been equipped with faster memory to make the card even quicker compared to the the "standard" FTW3 graphics card.

The GTX 1080 Ti FTW3 Elite graphics cards features a triple fan cooler with dual slot design. The FTW3 heatsink comes with a black and grey finish and LEDs at the top edge. Furthermore there is also a solid backplate which looks like it’s been made from metal. Although the specifications are not available yet, we believe the PCB will feature a custom design. And indication for that are the two 8-pin power connectors.

While the GTX 1080 Ti Founders Edition works at 1480MHz/1582MHz Core/Boost frequencies, the factory-overclocked EVGA GTX 1080 Ti FTW3 Elite clocks with 1569MHz/1683MHz Core/Boost. In addition the EVGA model has been pushed on the memory side. As of today there is no date available when this card will hit the shelves of your local retailer.
