NVIDIA publishes recommended specs for PUBG

GTX 1060 for FHD experience

PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds will finally leave Early Access in few days. It will be a full-fledged PC release at that point and when it debuts players will have to put together a build that can handle the game for the best experience possible. NVIDIA has published a list of recommended graphics cards at GeForce.com to offer some insight into what kind of performance its products can offer.

According to NVIDIA, the GeForce GTX 1060 graphics card is good to run PUBG at 70 FPS at 1920 x 1080 resolution without frame drops. This is why the game's developers at the PUBG Corporation made the GeForce GTX 1060 the official 'recommended' GeForce GTX graphics cards. With a resolution of 2560 x 1440, the GeForce GTX 1070 is the first GPU to exceed 60 FPS, running 72 FPS on average. The ever-demanding 4K resolution requires the powerful GeForce GTX 1080 Ti. Only with this card you can obtain 60 FPS with High settings.

If you want run Ultra settings and keep 60 FPS average on PUBG, you need at least a GeForce GTX 1070 in 1920 x 1080, a GeForce GTX 1080 in 2560 x 1440 and a custom GeForce GTX 1080 Ti in 3840 x 2160 resolution. If you're looking to optimize your setup and you are using a NVIDIA graphics card, we suggest to install GeForce Experience.
