While NVIDIA keeps to unveil GTX10 graphics cards like the GTX 1050 3GB, enthusiasts are holding their wallet for something really new. The upcoming GTX11 series should be unveiled somewhen during summer time. Apparently the mass production of the upcoming chips haven't started yet.


Today NVIDIA has revealed the program of an event close to the Computex. While the Computex 2018 will take place next week, NVIDIA will present a next-gen mainstream GPU during the Hot Chips Symposium event in August. According to the schedule, the Nvidia VP of GPU ASIC Engineering Stuart Oberman will talk about a "NVIDIA Next Generation Mainstream GPU".

At the moment however is still unclear what we will see from NVIDIA and what's reserver for consumers. We might get a refresh of Pascal, a mainstream version of Volta GPU or even something based on Turing architecture. We will keep an eye on it.
