Cyberpunk 2077 E3 demo PC specs revealed

Based on high-end components

During the E3 2018, CD Projekt Red has unveiled the Cyberpunk 2077 trailer on YouTube. Furthermore, during an event, the company has hosted a PC gameplay demo with almost one hour of gameplay. Due to the smooth gameplay and the good graphics details, you might be wondering what kind of components were inside the demo PC and if you will have to upgrade your gaming PC.

According to the specification list published by a CDPR Junior Community Specialist on the official Cyberpunk 2077 Discord channel, the demo PC was running on a single high-end graphics card. The specification list includes a Core i7-8700K processor paired with an ASUS ROG Strix Z370-I Gaming motherboard with 32GB of G.Skill Ripjaws V DDR4-3000 memory. Furthermore the system packed a powerful NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti graphics card. With these components, the game was running well with 4K resolution at 30Hz.

The demo didn't show any noticeable frame rate drops, stuttering or other issues. According to PCGamesN, Cyberpunk 2077 uses an updated version of the REDengine (version 4). Since this game doesn't aim to be as realistic as The Witcher 3, we don't expect to see high system requirements.

Cyberpunk 2077 will be further showcased at Gamescom 2018 next August and in the following you can find a small trailer.
