Basemark adds a GPU benchmark for Windows, Linux and Android

Compatible with Vulkan API

Basemark has launched their new Basemark GPU benchmark for Windows, Linux and Android. With this benchmark you can compare the performance of your gaming PC to other hardware when using Vulkan, OpenGL and OpenGL ES APIs. In a later stage this benchmark will be updated with other APIs like DirectX 12 and Metal.

With the Basemark GPU, Basemark offers both a free and a premium application. This software has been developed in co-operation with Imagination Technologies, NVIDIA, Qualcomm and Renesas. As you might have noticed there is one big name missing, which is of course AMD. According to the official press release there is no mention of AMD or Radeon technology.

Basemark GPU is available on Google Play or as direct download for Windows, Linux and Android. The benchmark comes with two different presets which are intended for desktop and mobile systems. Below you can find the source for the download.
