With the launch of Coffee Lake, Intel has finally brought their first six-core and twelve-thread processors to the mainstream market. A document from ASUS has revealed the entire upcoming Z390 motherboard lineup.


ASUS is planning to add more Coffee Lake-S motherboards. The list includes six high-end ROG Maximus motherboards, four mid-range ROG Strix models, three PRIME motherboards, six durable TUF models and, in the end, one entry-level Dragon motherboard. According to latest rumors, with the Z390 chipset Intel adds an updated version of current Z370. The Z390 chipset comes with native support for USB 3.1 Gen2, Wireless-AC 2x2 160MHz and Bluetooth 5. Furthermore with the launch of Z390, Intel might add the first mainstream eight-core processor.
