During the last weeks there have been several rumours surrounding NVIDIA's next GeForce graphics card launch. At the moment we know that NVIDIA has an event scheduled for later this month. Despite we haven't any confirmation that we will see the GTX 1180 there, there are leaked pictures about the PCB of an upcoming NVIDIA graphics card.


A user of the forum Baidu has published a couple of pictures about an unreleased NVIDIA GPU PCB. The pictures unveil that this new card will support both 8GB or 16GB GDDR6 memory. Furthermore it sports 10 phase VRM powered through 6+8 pin power connectors. Another interesting aspect regards the SLI connector that is completely different. According to Videocardz, NVIDIA might have implemented NVLink also for gaming GPUs with the new SLI fingers.

Due to the NVIDIA certification logos, this PCB is a final version of a NVIDIA reference graphics card. As you might know, NVIDIA is holding an event on 20th August just ahead Gamescom. It's believed that during the "GeForce Gaming Celebration" NVIDIA will unveil the GTX 1180. We will keep an eye on it.
