NVIDIA RTX 20xx series GPU reviews online soon

In two weeks

As we all know meanwhile NVIDIA has recently announced their RTX 20xx series graphics cards but currently we still don’t know how quick the new cards are going to be in the real world. While some users believe that the technology might be revolutionary, other gamers think that ray-tracing will actually kill some of the performance.

NVIDIA's long-awaited RTX 20 series graphics cards made their debut during Gamescom, which took place a few weeks ago in Cologne. One of the key aspects of the architecture of these new cards is their ray-tracing capability, which is supposed to help improve reflections, shadows and, lighting in video games. On stage NVIDIA showed off some impressive gameplay footage but many have questioned the overall performance.

At the moment you can pre-order the cards, but tech experts are suggesting to wait for real benchmarks before pre-ordering these accelerators. Currently it's still unclear how these cards are going to behave in real world games and therefore everyone is waiting for the first reviews. According to NVIDIA, the NDA is going to be lifted on September 17. That day you’re supposed to be able to read through an armada of RTX 2080 and 2080 Ti reviews. It's not clear when the RTX 2070 is going to make its appearance but this certainly won’t happen next year.
