Das Keyboard updates 4Q keyboard

With cloud smarts

Das Keyboard made its name with premium mechanical clickers with impressive quality. A few months ago, the company has introduced the Q software platform for lighting control and web-powered intelligent notifications. Now the classic Das Keyboard 4 Professional is finally compatible with that utility.

The Das Keyboard 4Q blends cloud features with Cherry MX Brown or Blue switches. Each key sports programmable RGB LED backlighting that can be connected to web APIs to display information like stock price movement or weather forecast data. The Q utility is compatible with IoT devices to control smart lighting, thermostats and other smart gears. Last but not least, you might even develop your own extension for the utility.

The 4Q keyboard looks both sturdy and functional with the top is made out anodized aluminum. Although the keyboard comes with a rather classic design, on the top right corner there are several multimedia buttons like play, pause, next track, and volume functions. The 4Q is available now for $199 USD from Das Keyboard's shop.
