ZADAK 511 launches heatsink for M.2 SSDs

For 2280 form factor SSDs

If these days you want to buy a fast SSD you're going to choose a M.2 drive. Those drives are not just fast, unfortunately some of them also struggle with overheating issues. The logical consequence is that the different vendors started producing heatsinks to tackle this issue. ZADAK 511 has done exactly that and came up with a heatsink for M.2 SSDs, which goes by the name MOAB.

The MOAB M.2 RGB is made out aluminum with a thick base plate and a number of fins. The top part of the cooler is made out steel and packs a bunch of addressable RGB LEDs. The heatsink is 80mm long and roughly 10mm tall. According to the pictures, it appears to be rather big and we are wondering if you can install it between the PCIe x16 slots or rather not.

So far ZADAK 511 has not revealed any details on pricing and availability regarding their MOAB but we are sure this product is going to be listed on Geizhals rather sooner than later.
