Dataminers uncover details about upcoming Apex Legends content

New weapons and characters

Apex Legends has been released a couple of weeks ago on PS4, Xbox One and PC. The game is exclusive on EA's Origin platform and it’s popularity is already absolutely extraordinary. The free-to-play battle royale game has hit 25 million players in just one week.

According to latest rumors, two new legends called Octane and Wattson are expected to join the game. Octane will come with a Stim Pack ability which will give temporary speed, reload and health boosts much like in Titanfall 2. Wattson will release Tesla Traps that will deal some damage to enemies.

Furthermore there are several other names that we'll see during next updates: Crypto, Husaria, Jericho, Nomad, Prophet, Rampart, Rosie, and Skunner. New weapons are also supposedly on the way like the Havoc Rifle and L-Star EMG.

The Havoc Rifle will carry 25 energy bullets without extra attachments. The damage will be set to 18 on the body and 36 on the head. The L-Star EMG is still based on energy bullets and will come with 60-bullet clip. It'll deal 21 damage on the body and 42 on the head.

At the moment is still unknown when we'll see these new contents.
