Showing that overclocking is not limited to standard DIMM memory, G.Skill has announced that its RipJaws SO-DIMM 1.35V high-performance DDR3 memory, aimed to be used with notebooks and small form factor PCs, has been able to reach a stunning 2600MHz on ASRock's M8 barebone system.
As small form factor PCs are slowly becoming more and more popular, it is not a big surprise that some extreme overclockers will put some of the focus on those systems as well. According to published screenshot, G.Skill's Ripjaws DDR3 2133MHz CL11 8GB kit (2x4GB) was overclocked to an incredible 2600MHz with 12-14-14-35 latency.
All was done on ASRock's M8 barebone which is based on ASRock's Z87-M8 motherboard and Intel Core i7 4770 CPU.
