Fractal Design announces Node 804 micro-ATX PC case

Dual-chamber layout and multi-GPU support

Fractal Design has announced its newest micro-ATX PC case which will focus on both the cooling performance as well as the maximum configurability and be based on a rather interesting looking form factor and and elegant design, the Node 804.

The new Node 804 micro-ATX PC case feature a dual chamber layout design which should seperate hot running components from the cooler ones as well as allow better airflow over the motherboard, CPU and graphics cards. With 370x307x412mm dimensions, it is quite clear that the Node 804 case features a rather interesting form factor which makes it wider than most micro-ATX PC cases on the market, all due to special dual chamber design.

The case comes pre-loaded with three Silent Series R2 120mm fans but has enough room for an additional 7 fans which also means that it has enough room for a rather serious water cooling setup with enough room for up to 240mm and 280mm radiators running at the same time. All intake fan places are equipped with removable dust filters and the case also comes with an included fan controller.

The rather unique and simple looking front of the Node 804 is made from brushed aluminum and also includes support for a slim optical bay drive as well as two 2.5-inch drives. It support micro-ATX and mini-ITX motherboards, can take up to 160mm tall CPU cooler and up to 320mm long graphics card and has five expansion slots which means that it supports multi-GPU setups.

According to Fractal Design, the new Node 804 micro-ATX PC case will be available in May with a suggested retail price set at US $109.99 and €99.99.
