To be evident in Q3 2013

Google and Asus are again teaming up for the new, second-generation Nexus 7 tablet that is expected to hit retail/e-tail by the end of this month and judging by the revenue that Asus managed to get from the last one, it is reasonable they expect a big revenue boost from this one as well.

The 29-inch 2560x1080 21:9 ultra-wide display

Although it has been previously listed in retail/e-tail, Asus has now officially unveiled, announced and launched its new Designo Series MX299Q ultrawide 21:9 Cinematic Monitor. Based around a 29-inch AH-IPS (Advanced High Performance In-Plane Switching) panel that should provide rich and vibrant colors as well as a 178-degree wide viewing angles, the new MX229Q is also equipped with Asus SonicMaster audio, co-developed with Bang & Olufsen.

Update for 10 Asus motherboards

Following the rest of the motherboards manufacturers, Asus has also announced the new UEFI BIOS update for motherboards based on Intel's H87 and B85 Express chipsets that will unlock the previously inaccessible overclocking features for 4th generation Intel Core Haswell K-Series CPUs.

Not too expensive, not too cheap

Display with 21:9 format might become more popular in the future and especially enthusiasts might enjoy these panels in the upcoming years. With the MX299Q, ASUS has an offer, which they first presented during CES this year and meanwhile the display got listed and therefore got a price.

In addition to standard GTX 760 DirectCU

As it was the case with most, if not all Nvidia AIB partners, Asus has also launched a couple of graphics cards based on the Geforce GTX 760 design. Unlike other partners, Asus' GTX 760 lineup includes a rather unique GTX 760 DirectCU Mini graphics card that is aimed at SFF gaming PCs.

Geforce GTX 760 DirectCU II version

Just a day ahead of its launch a press-shot of the upcoming Asus Geforce GTX 760 DirectCU II has found its way on-line. The pictured card is the exact one that showed up in the European retail/e-tail earlier last week and should be available in both OC and non-OC version.

15.6-incher with Intel Haswell and Geforce GT 740M

Asus has officially launched a new member of its VivoBook Ultrabook lineup, the VivoBook S551 Touch Ultrabook. Featuring Intel's 4th generation Core CPU and Nvidia Geforce GT 740M GPU, the new VivoBook S551 Touch Ultrabook is a mere 22.5mm thin at its thickest point and features a 15.6-inch touchscreen.

Ready for Ivy Bridge-E and Ivy Bridge-EP CPUs

Although it was already leaked earlier this year, Asus has now officially launched the new ASUS P9X79-E WS socket LGA2011 motherboard aimed for use with the upcoming Core Ivy Bridge-E and Xeon Ivy Bridge-EP line of CPUs.

Quite a decent factory overclock

Asus has decided to announce its new DirectCU II thermal solution and pair it up with the GTX 780 graphics card in order to get a rather decent factory-overclock.

Supports Kaveri APUs

During Computex 2013 show, Asus showed a rather interesting socket FM2+ motherboard that supports the upcoming Kaveri APUs and is actually based on AMD's Bolton D4 A88x chipset, the Asus A88XM-Pro.

Windows 8 and Android in one

In addition to the MeMO Pad tablets and the new Transformer Pad Infinity, during its press conference at Computex 2013 Asus also unveiled a rather unique tablet/notebook hybrid.

More miniITX madness

At the moment there is quite something going on over in Taipeh, since Comptuex 2013 has started now. After we wrote about the news Maximus VI Impact miniITX motherboard from ASUS there is now even more miniITX madness going on in Taiwan. With the Z87-I Deluxe it looks like ASUS is also displaying the official successor of the surprisingly successful P8Z77-I Deluxe.

ROG and miniTIX sounds like a recipe

While browsing Facebook a few minutes ago, we've been quite surprised to see first pictures of an ASUS Maximus VI Impact. This board features a miniITX form factor and it's based on Intels latest Z87 chipset. Furthermore this little fellow belongs to ASUS ROG line-up which makes it even more interesting.

A sex little fellow

Meanwhile the first - decent - pic of ASUS' upcoming Maximus VI Formula motherboard made it into the internet. Once more we found the pic on Facebook and it looks like a crossbreed between ROG and Sabertooth and we have to say, it looks really nice.

Sabertooth influence in ROG department

While browsing Facebook - again - we find another set of very interesting pictures. If you know the new Gryphon Z87 board with the additional armor kit, which is being sold separately, then you might already get what this news is about. It looks like ASUS is planning to also provide their ROG boards with separate armor kits.

Nvidia Tegra 4 and 2560x1600 IPS+ panel

During its Computex 2013 press conference Asus has launched quite a few new devices and products including the new premium tablet, the Asus Transformer Pad Infinity. One of the first devices based on Nvidia's Tegra 4 chip, the new Asus Transformer Pad Infinity will feature an ultra-sharp 2560x1600 IPS+ panel and bunch of other features reserved only for Asus' high-end offer.

Affordable but powerful tablets

Asus has been quite busy at Computex 2013 and one of the announcements was about its new Asus MeMO Pad HD 7 and the MeMO Pad FHD 10 tablets. Aimed to be cheap but powerful, the new MeMO Pad tablets will certainly snatch quite a big piece of the tablet market as soon as Asus manage to get them to retail/e-tail shelves.

Liquid-cooled GTX 770

Asus decided to show a rather nice and unique graphics card at Computex 2013, the liquid cooled Asus Republic of Gamers GTX 770 Poseidon.

Factory-overclock and dual-fan DirectCU II cooler

Asus has announced the new graphics cards that will be a part of its Geforce 700 series lineup, the Asus Geforce GTX 770 DirectCU II OC. As the names suggest, it will feature Asus' own DirectCU II cooler and a slight factory-overclock.

Up to 1167Mbps on 5GHz and 2.4GHz frequencies

Asus has launched the new RT-AC56U dual-band router that support the new 802.11ac WiFi standard and can achieve a total of 1167Mbps when both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands are enabled.
