Launch date lines up

Videocardz site has release the full specifications list for the upcoming GTX 760 graphics card as well as the picture that shows the reference design. The reference clocks are quite lower than what was rumored but it does not come as a surprise considering that we will see custom designs from day one.


Rumored specifications seem correct

According to our sources Nvidia's upcoming GTX 760 graphics card based on the GK104 GPU is currently scheduled to launch on 25th of June. The recently rumored specifications seems to be in line with what our sources heard and seen but Nvidia still did not send out the official and final specifications for the GTX 760.


Nvidia has pulled a quite an interesting move by announcing that it will be begin to license its GPU technologies to other companies as well as continue to make chips themselves. Nvidia expects that this will help the company to capitalize on the industry shift to tablets and smartphones and push Nvidia into more products.


GPU-Z spills the beans

There have been a lot of rumors regarding the actual specifications of the upcoming GTX 760 mainstream graphics card and we now have a first GPU-Z screenshot from Chiphell that shows some if not all key specifications in details.


Should come next week

As it was rumored earlier, Nvidia is preparing the launch of the new Geforce GTX 760 graphics card that is based on the 28nm Kepler architecture and should hit retail/e-tail sometime next week. Luckily, we now have some of the first picture of custom graphics cards as well as some specifications rumored earlier.

According to a leak at Tokyo's Akihabara retailers it appears that the upcoming Geforce GTX 770, schedule to officially launch tomorrow, might actually end up to be cheaper than expected as the currently listed price puts it at around US $400.

Cheaper GTX Titan packs a punch

As expected and rumored earlier, Nvidia has unveiled its newest member of the Geforce graphics card lineup, the Geforce GTX 780. Based on a version of the 28nm GK110 GPU, the GTX 780 is pretty much a cheaper GTX Titan that will fill the gap that Nvidia and for that matter AMD as well, have between the GTX 680 and the GTX Titan/GTX 690 dual-GPU graphics cards.

A Chiphell forum user managed to get its hands on a retail version of the upcoming Gefroce GTX 770 scheduled to appear by the end of this month and take it for a spin in some benchmarks and games.


More is always better

Meanwhile it's kind of confirmed that NVIDIA's upcoming GeForce GTX 780 graphics cards will be based on NVIDIAs GK110 chip. To a certain extent the GTX 780 will even use the same cooler as well as the same PCB as the GeForce GTX Titan.
