Using geizhals as our
price research tool, we find that offers for 2x4GB sets of 2400C10 XPG
Gaming Series V2.0 start at 80 Euros excluding shipping across the EU.
Between all other DDR3-2400 products, the Kingstons CL11 for 70 Euros
are the cheapest then comes a few G.Skill CL10 around 75 Euros and here
we got our ADATA set. So this kit from ADATA isn't the cheapest kit
around nor the most expensive one. But as we got a very good
overclocking potential on this one and we can't guarantee the quality
of the chips beeing used on the other DDR3-2400 memory though they are
the same, this kit from ADATA is a very good value for the price.
Furthermore the build quality is at a very high level.
The only downsides of this
memory kit are the package which can't be reused once opened and a XMP
profile that sets higher tRCD and tRP than specs.
Overall, we must
say that we have been convinced by this XPG memory kit from ADATA who
has achievable specs for almost all the platforms out there, a very
high manufacturing quality and an impressive overclocking headroom. It
is not the fastest memory kit for enthusiasts and overclockers but it's
the fastest DDR3-2400 (once overclocked) kit we had powered by nowadays
The ADATA XPG Gaming Series V2.0 AX3U2400GC4G10-DG2 kit receives the
excellent rating of 4.5 out of five stars
