After looking at all the facts and our experience with this PC case, we can say that the Focus G Mini from Fractal Design is a mini tower for those who wish to have a small case and want to be able to use high-end components. There is quite a lot of space available on the inside, ensuring good compatibility with AiO water coolers or tower heatsinks. There is also quite a lot of space availble for cable management, due to the convext right side panel. Due to the fact, that this is a small case it's also light and that is usually and indicator that the quality of the steel used is low. Nevertheless the build quality is on the level we expect from Fractal Design and also the paint isn't prone to scratches.

To test the case we used, as always, a high-end graphics card and a big tower cooler and the installation happend without any issues. The temperatures measured during the stress test are close to the average of the products we've tested so far and with additional fans, it's possible to further improve thems. Overall there is a reasonable amount of features and we especially appreciate the way Fractal Design dealt with the cable management, which allows for building nice and tidy systems.

The only thing we'd really like to see changed is the I/O panel. When we started the photosession, we were surprised to find a USB 2.0 port paired with one USB 3.0 port. Since USB 2.0 is meanwhile outdated, we'd really like to see that one replaced by another USB 3.0 port. Since there are several fan slots it would also be great to find a small and simply fan controller. Concluding, we can easily recommend the Focus G Mini PC case to anyone looking for a cheap mini-tower PC case which is well made and able to also accommodate high-end products.
