The Maximus IV Extreme-Z is ASUS' latest flagship regarding their socket 1155 line-up. With its ROG brand the taiwanese mainboard giant targets gamers as well as overclockers. Very impressive is for example the number of USB 3.0 ports this board comes with. There is a total of eight of these ports.

The Maximus IV Extreme-Z is ASUS' high end motherboard regarding Intels Z68 chipset. Therefore we're really curious what they've done from the layout and design perspective.
