DVD/CD burner: LG GH22NS 27.- CHF 23.- EUR

Subtotal:   1694.-  CHF 1412.- EUR

Brief description

Regarding motherboard, processor and memory it is quite obvious that we recommend a socket AM3+ motherboard with an 990-Series chipset and we combined it with 4 x 4 GByte of DDR3 memory. Paired up with an AMD FX-8150 CPU there is plenty of performance for gaming. The motherboard supports CrossFireX which means that in a year, if you shouldn't have enough gaming power anymore, you can simply buy the same graphics card you already own for a second time and you're back in business. The only suitable option for a video card regarding this setup is an overclocked Radeon HD 7970 from ASUS.

Case, Power Supply, Cooling

Case: Cooler Master CM690 Advance II, Window 127.- CHF 106.- EUR
CPU cooler: Prolimatech Genesis 79.- CHF 66.- EUR
Fan 2 x Xigmatek XLF-F1455 140mm 48.- CHF 40.- EUR
Power Supply: Corsair CMPSU-850AX 189.- CHF 158.- EUR

Subtotal:   443.- CHF 369.- EUR

Brief description

With the Cooler Master CM690 Advance II we recommend a midi tower which is excellent value for money. The case for example offers lots of practical features as well as a good airflow. Regarding the power supply we chose a Corsair CMPSU-850AX. The thing offers 850 Watts and is powerful enough to also support an CrossFire Setup. Furthermore this PSU has been 80 PLUS Gold certified. According to 80plus.org this block this block offers more than 91 percent efficiency at 50 percent load. Of course, a system like this needs an adequate and silent CPU cooler. Prolimatechs Genesis paired up with two Xigmateck XLF-F1455 140 millimeter fans does this job really good.

Dispaly and Peripherals

Display: BenQ 24''GL2420 149.- CHF 124.- EUR
Keyboard: Roccat Isku 95.- CHF 79.- EUR
Mouse: Roccat Kone[+] 79.- CHF 66.- EUR
Mousepad: Roccat Alumic 45.- CHF 37.5.- EUR
Headset: SteelSeries Siberia V2 Black 96.- CHF 80.- EUR

Subtotal:   464.- CHF 387.- EUR

Brief description

Regarding the display we recommend the cheapest 24 inch Full HD 24 inch model from BenQ which is around. For gaming these displays really are ok and they're therefore definitely good value for money. This time the peripherals come from Roccat. The Isku, the Kone[+] as well as the Alumic all these devices are high-end gaming input devices which allow an accurate gaming experience. Only the headset comes from SteelSeries. In this case recommend a Sibera V2 in black which offer astonishingly good sound at an attractive price point.
If you should be thinking about buying this entire configuration you'd have to pay CHF 2601.- The price is without obligation.
Total:   2601.- CHF 2168.- EUR
