A few days ago we we published a performance prediction/estimation on NVIDIAs upcoming GeForce GTX Titan graphics card. Back then we were calculating with GPU clock speeds of 1'050 MHz and 2'880 shader units activated. Now, that NVIDIA released the final specs we can estimate the performance with the real clock speeds which are 837 MHz base clock and 876 MHz boost clock. Futhermore NVIDIA revealed that they activated 2'688 shader units and not 2'880. So here is the updated version of our article.

Taking a closer look at the GK110 graphics chip, you can see that basically it's an upscaled version fo the GK104 architecture (actually it's the other way round). In order to estimate the performance of a GK110 gaming graphics card we tested the GTX 660 Ti, the GTX 670 and the GTX 680. Those cards don't only feature a different number of SMX units they als have different memory interfaces. Based on the benchmark results of these three cards we did our estimation.
We repeat, the results in this article aren't the product's actual performance but a calculated estimation - we hope - accurate.
