Dust filters

In total there are no less than eight spots for 120 millimeter fans in this case. All the air inlets are covered using dust filters. These can be removed easily in order to clean them under tap water.

Two compartment layout

Lian Li chose a two chamber layout for this case. If you look at the PC-O8 from the front, you see that motherboard and graphics card are placed on the left side of the motherboard tray and on the other side that’s where the power supply and HDD/SSD cage go. This internal layout allows for stunning looking builds, where all cables are hidden behind the motherboard tray.

Cable management

For a great looking and high-priced case it’s almost self-evident that there is a well-thought cable management in place. As we already mentioned Lian Li decided for a two chamber layout with the PC-O8, which offers plenty of space on the backside of the motherboard tray to hide all the cables away. Apart from that there are numerous rubber grommeted cut-outs allowing the user to route cables from one side of the motherboard tray to the other.

Support for custom watercooling

The PC-O8 offers a lot of flexibility when it comes to custom watercooling gear. Looking at the case from the front, you see three 120 millimeter fans on the right side, behind which you can place a 360 millimeter radiator. In in the top, above the motherboard, there is space for a 240 millimeter radiator and should you wish to do so, then you can even install yet another 120 millimeter radiator in the back.

LED RGB lighting

According to the specifications table the PC-O8 features a custom LED lighting, whereas the PC-O8S comes without lighting and fans. There is a total of three LED strips included in the delivery. These strips are attached to the case using double sided tape. Furthermore the fans need to be connected with a control unit, which features three knobs. These allow you to gradually control the brightness of each color (red, green and blue) to achieve any color you want.

Modular HDD rack

Right above the power supply, on the right hand side of the case, there is a modular HDD cage. Thanks to the use of thumb screws it’s possible to remove this rack without having to look for additional tools. The rack itself allows you to install up to six 3.5 inch and two 2.5 inch drives. In order to reduces vibrations the HDD cage features pre-fit rubber rings for the 3.5 inch drive. Also the two 2.5 inch drive are mounted using anti vibration grommets. To ensure adequate cooling the HDD rack has been equipped with two 120 millimeter outtake fans.
